Handsome deserves his life (and our love)!
">Handsome is big, older mush of a dog. Found as a stray in Brooklyn, this sweetheart soon found himself at Brooklyn Animal Care & Control. Very soon after that he found himself coughing and sneezing with a cold he picked up at the shelter... and then he found himself relegated to the Kill List and scheduled to be killed on Saturday morning. This older gentleman had been through so much, so Empty Cages Collective stepped in to save his life.
Handsome is just a chubby dog who loves people and food. He deserves his golden years to be awesome--not being killed all alone in East New York, Brooklyn!

While the love we provide is free, veterinary bills are expensive! Handsome has a problematic heart (you wouldn't know it to meet him, he is gentle and sweet with everyone he meets), some teeth in need of dental care and a significant respiratory infection he picked up from Brooklyn Animal Care & Control.
